Privacy policy

The Assure website keeps no copy of what you type in its forms. Sending a form opens WhatsApp with your trip details as a message, and nothing reaches Assure until you press send. Assure uses those details to quote and run your trip. Personal data in the UAE is protected by Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.

Who this policy covers

This policy covers assureadventure.com, the WhatsApp line +971 56 684 8148 and bookings made by phone. Assure’s office is in the Al Nisf Building on Dubai Airport Road, Al Garhoud, Dubai, PO Box 36450.

What you send us

Detail When we ask for it What it is used for
Your name Every quote The booking record, and the name board at airport pickups
Phone or WhatsApp number When you message or call Reaching you about the trip
Pickup, drop-off, date, time, passengers and bags Every quote Pricing the trip and choosing a car with enough seats
Flight number Airport pickups Following your real landing time
Company, role and work email Corporate requests Quotes, accounts and invoices for the company
Passport copies and photos Visa applications only Submitting the application

For airport transfers, the flight number lets the chauffeur follow your real landing time and wait at the right terminal. Company details are asked for only on corporate accounts and requests for proposals.

We never ask for card details on this website, and the site takes no payments.

How the website form works

The trip form does not send anything to an Assure server. When you press Send on WhatsApp, your browser turns the fields into a text message and opens WhatsApp with it, on your phone or in WhatsApp Web. The message also carries the address of the page you sent it from.

You can read and change the text before you send it. If you close WhatsApp without sending, Assure receives nothing.

WhatsApp and phone calls

Messages you send on WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp, under its own privacy policy. For users outside the European Region and the UK, that is WhatsApp LLC.

At Assure, more than one person may read your chat, for example whoever prices the trip and the chauffeur assigned to it. The chat history is the written record of your quote and your booking.

Who we share your details with

  • Your chauffeur gets your name, phone number, pickup point, time and flight number, so the pickup can happen.
  • Partner companies. When your car comes from our partner network, labelled that way on the fleet pages, the partner and its driver get the same trip details.
  • Visa authorities. Passport data goes only to the authority, or the accredited office, that processes your visa application.
  • Authorities that require it by law, such as the police.

Assure does not sell personal data and does not share it with advertisers.

Passport data for visa applications

Passport copies, photos and supporting documents are the most sensitive details we handle. Send them only when we ask, for an application you have decided to make.

Use the WhatsApp chat for your booking, not email or social media messages, so the documents stay in one place. After the visa decision, you can ask us to delete the copies from that chat and from our records.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to count visits and to see which pages lead to enquiries. GA4 records page views and three actions: a form being sent (which form and which service), a WhatsApp link being clicked and a call link being clicked. The text you type in a form, such as your name, route or flight number, is not sent to Google Analytics.

GA4 sets two first-party cookies.

Cookie Default lifetime Purpose
_ga 2 years Tells one browser apart from another
_ga_<container-id> 2 years Keeps track of the current visit

Browsers can shorten these lifetimes when a visitor does not come back. Google’s documentation gives 400 days as the limit in Chrome and 7 days in Safari. To opt out, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.

Apart from Google Analytics, the pages load no advertising, social media or other tracking scripts. The fonts and images come from this site’s own server. Like most web servers, the host that serves the site may keep standard access logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested.

Your rights under UAE law

The UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, has been in force since 2 January 2022. It bars the processing of personal data without the owner’s consent, apart from set exceptions, such as protecting the public interest or carrying out legal procedures.

The law gives you the right to ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, and to restrict or stop its processing. The UAE Data Office, set up under Federal Decree-Law No. 44 of 2021, is the federal data regulator.

To use these rights, or to ask what details Assure holds about you, message +971 56 684 8148 on WhatsApp or use the details on the contact page.

How long we keep details

Booking details stay in the WhatsApp chat and in Assure’s booking records for as long as the trip and its invoice need them. Some records are kept longer where UAE law requires it. You can ask us to delete details we no longer need.

Questions and answers

Does the website store what I type in the form?

No. The form has no server behind it. When you press Send on WhatsApp, your browser turns the fields into a message and opens WhatsApp with it. Assure receives the details only if you send that message. Google Analytics records that a form was sent and for which service, but not your name, route or flight number.

Who at Assure sees my WhatsApp messages?

The people who handle your trip, such as whoever prices the quote and the chauffeur assigned to the pickup. If your car comes from our partner network, the partner company and its driver get the trip details they need. WhatsApp also handles the messages under its own privacy policy, which is separate from this one.

Why do you ask for my flight number?

So your chauffeur can follow the real landing time instead of the scheduled one, which matters when a flight lands early or late. It also tells the chauffeur which terminal to wait at, for example Terminal 1, 2 or 3 at Dubai International. The flight number is kept in the booking record with the other trip details.

What cookies does the Assure website use?

Only the two Google Analytics 4 cookies. The _ga cookie tells one browser apart from another, and the _ga cookie followed by the container ID keeps track of the current visit. Both last up to 2 years by default, and browsers may clear them sooner. The site sets no advertising or social media cookies.

How is my passport data handled for a visa?

Passport copies and photos are asked for only when you decide to apply for a visa. They go to the authority or the accredited office that processes the application, and to nobody else. Send them in the WhatsApp chat for your booking rather than by email or social media. Once the visa decision is back, you can ask us to delete the copies.

How do I ask Assure to correct or delete my details?

Message +971 56 684 8148 on WhatsApp with the name and phone number used for the booking, and say what you want changed or removed. UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 gives you the right to have inaccurate data corrected, and to restrict or stop the processing of your data.

Does Assure sell my data or use it for advertising?

No. Assure does not sell personal data or pass it to advertisers, and the site runs no advertising or social media tracking. Your details go only to the people and companies needed to run your trip, such as your chauffeur or a partner supplying the car. Authorities get them only where the law requires it.
