Limousine service in Dubai

Book a limousine when the evening matters as much as the destination. The car collects you at your door, waits through dinner or the show, and is at the entrance when you walk out.

What “limousine” means in Dubai

In the UAE, a limousine is any luxury car hired with a chauffeur. RTA licenses the activity as passenger transport by luxury motor vehicles, and the car is usually a Mercedes S-Class, a BMW 7 Series or a Rolls-Royce.

A stretch limousine is a different vehicle: a car or SUV lengthened by a coachbuilder, with side-facing seats for 8 to 12 people. Assure books stretch cars only through its partner network, subject to availability. They have their own section below.

Limousines by occasion

Dinner and a night out

A typical evening starts at a Downtown Dubai hotel and ends in Dubai Marina. Atlantis The Palm is about 26 km from Downtown, 27 minutes without traffic, and Dubai Marina is about 12 km on from there. On hourly hire, the car waits while you eat, so nobody has to find parking or book a ride home at midnight.

Anniversaries, birthdays and proposals

Tell us the occasion when you book. Ask for flowers, a particular colour of car or a stop for photographs when you book, and the quote says what can be arranged. If the evening includes a surprise, say so, and a detour to a viewpoint before the restaurant can be built into the route. VIP arrivals

At Dubai International (DXB), the chauffeur tracks the flight and waits in the arrivals hall holding a board with the guest’s name, and welcomes VIP guests personally. DXB runs no pick-up lane outside Arrivals, so the limousine is parked in the terminal car park and the chauffeur leads the guest and the bags to it. Concerts and shows

Coca-Cola Arena sits in City Walk, about 3 km from Burj Khalifa. Cars drop guests in a zone in front of entrances A, B and C, and the arena has no valet and limited paid parking. The Coca-Cola Arena chauffeur page covers drop-off and collection after the show.

The limousine fleet

Seats count passengers in the rear cabin. The partner network covers every Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maybach and stretch model, subject to availability.

A couple usually takes the S-Class or a Rolls-Royce Ghost. Four friends heading to dinner need the Escalade, because a sedan seats 3 in the rear. A group of 10 for a birthday fits in an Escalade stretch.

Stretch limousines and Hummer limos

The partner network lists 4 stretch models: the Chrysler 300 and Lincoln Town Car for up to 8 passengers, the Cadillac Escalade stretch for up to 10, and the Hummer H2 stretch for up to 12. Each coachbuilder lays out the cabin differently, so the seat count of the actual car is confirmed with your quote.

A stretch is long. Some hotel driveways, mall entrances and venue drop-off zones are tight for it, so give us the exact pickup and drop-off and we check them against the car. Colour is fixed by the car itself, so if you want a white or pink stretch, ask before you confirm.

Hourly limousine hire

Limousines are booked by the hour. Each car class has its own minimum, stated in the quote, and extra hours are agreed before the night, not argued about at the end of it.

A 4-hour evening could run like this.

The car drives for about an hour of that and waits for the rest. That waiting is what you pay for on hourly hire, and it is why the car is outside the door at 22:00.

If dinner may run long, book an extra hour up front or ask for the overtime terms before the night. Then a late finish costs what the quote says, and you message the chauffeur when you are ready to leave.

A night drive with photo stops

Some limousine bookings have no dinner at all: the drive is the evening. This loop takes in the skyline and the coast in about 56 km, roughly 70 minutes of driving without traffic.

With a 20-minute stop at each point, the loop fits a 3-hour block. The chauffeur parks where parking is allowed and waits while you take photos, so some viewpoints are a short walk from the car.

How a limousine quote is worked out

Assure does not publish limousine prices. RTA rules require luxury transport tariffs in Dubai to sit above the taxi tariff, and within that, these factors move the quote.

New Year’s Eve 2026 in a limousine

31 December 2026 is a Thursday. The closure plan for the night comes out in late December: last year’s was announced on 26 December 2025. Until the 2026 plan is out, the last two editions are the best guide.

• New Year 2026 (31 December 2025): road closures around the event areas began at 4 pm and widened until 11 pm. Roads named included Al Asayel Street, Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Burj Khalifa Street, the Lower and Upper Financial Centre Roads, Al Mustaqbal Street, Al Sukook Street and Sheikh Zayed Road.
• New Year 2025 (31 December 2024): Al Asayel Street, Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, Burj Khalifa Street, Al Mustaqbal Street and Lower Financial Centre Street closed from 4 pm. Upper Financial Centre Street and Al Sukook Street closed from 8 pm.

For the last night of 2025, Dubai’s authorities put more than 18,000 limousine and luxury transport vehicles into service. If you want a car in Downtown, plan to be dropped before the closures and agree a pickup point outside the closed zone for after midnight. Wedding limousines

A wedding rarely needs just one car. There is the bride’s arrival, the couple leaving the venue, and often a car for each set of parents, and our wedding car hire page times them against each other. Race nights, galas and other events

The Dubai World Cup at Meydan Racecourse is about 12 km from Downtown and 24 km from Dubai Marina. Galas, award nights and the big concerts follow the same pattern: drop-off at the entrance, a wait, and a collection point agreed in advance. Limousines in Abu Dhabi

For an evening in the capital, such as dinner at Emirates Palace or a show at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, see limousine hire in Abu Dhabi. Yas Island is about 114 km from Downtown Dubai, so an Abu Dhabi night is usually booked as a long hourly block with the return drive included.
