Which UAE airports do you cover?

Assure covers seven passenger airports in five emirates, plus the business aviation terminals and the cruise ports. The table gives the road distance and drive time from each one to Downtown Dubai, without traffic.

Al Maktoum International DWC Dubai about 49 km, 51 min Assure, RTA licensed

Al Bateen Executive Airport AZI Abu Dhabi about 132 km, 1 h 25 min Partner network, subject to availability

Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, Zayed Port Abu Dhabi about 138 km, 1 h 29 min Partner network, subject to availability

Distances come from the OSRM route planner on OpenStreetMap data, measured to the Burj Khalifa area. Weekday peaks add time, most of all on the E11 towards Abu Dhabi and on the roads between Dubai and Sharjah.

Two airports changed their names recently, so your ticket may show either one. Abu Dhabi International became Zayed International on 9 February 2024, when Terminal A opened. Al Ain International became Tahnoun International on 11 October 2026, and airline sites still use the code AAN.

Where does the driver meet me?

Your chauffeur waits on the public side of the arrivals hall, past passport control, baggage claim and customs. They hold a board with your name, and VIP guests are welcomed personally by the chauffeur. That name-board meeting is the same at every airport we serve, from Terminal 3 at DXB to the separate Arrival Terminal at Ras Al Khaimah.

Switch your phone on when you reach the baggage belt. The chauffeur sends a WhatsApp message with the exact meeting point for your terminal.

The walk to the car differs by airport. Dubai Airports has no pick-up area at arrivals, so at DXB your chauffeur walks you and your bags to the terminal car park. At the other airports, the chauffeur tells you before landing where the car waits.

Flight tracking, waiting time and child seats

  • Flight tracking. Send your flight number with the booking. The chauffeur times the pickup to the real landing time, including early arrivals.
  • Free waiting time. It starts at landing, and the number of minutes is written in your quote.
  • Child seats. Available on request. Give each child’s age so the right seat is fitted before the pickup.
  • Changes at night. WhatsApp and phone are answered 24/7, so a gate change or a diverted flight reaches a person, not a voicemail.

Pickups outside Dubai: how the licensing works

Assure is RTA licensed in Dubai, with 10+ years in business. A trip that starts in Dubai runs under that licence, including a drop-off at Zayed International, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah for a departing flight.

Pickups at AUH, SHJ, RKT, FJR, AAN and Al Bateen need a car licensed in that emirate. We arrange those through our partner network, subject to availability, and name the car in your quote. Landing in the capital? The page for Zayed International pickups covers the Terminal A arrivals hall.

Which car fits the people and bags on your flight?

Count large suitcases, not only passengers. A family of 4 with 5 cases needs more boot space than a sedan gives.

Your group Cars that fit Large suitcases
1 to 3 passengers Lexus ES 300h, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series 2
Up to 6 passengers, light luggage GMC Yukon, Cadillac Escalade 3
Up to 6 passengers, heavy luggage Mercedes-Benz V-Class 4
7 to 13 passengers Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 13 seats 6
14 to 19 passengers Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 19 seats 3
20 to 50 passengers Toyota Coaster or a coach, through our partner network, subject to availability Ask us

All cars except the last row are Assure fleet. Sports teams, wedding parties and tour groups landing together can book through our group transport for 10 or more. Every model, with seats and bag space, is on the full fleet list.

Airport to airport, and on to the other emirates

Some trips start at one airport and end at another: an Emirates arrival connecting to a flight from DWC, or a departure booked out of Sharjah.

Connection Road distance Without traffic
DXB to Sharjah (SHJ) about 29 km 35 min
DXB to Al Maktoum (DWC) about 61 km 1 h 10 min
DWC to Zayed International (AUH) about 94 km 1 h 13 min
DXB to Zayed International (AUH) about 131 km 1 h 39 min
Tahnoun International (AAN) to AUH about 132 km 1 h 31 min
SHJ to Zayed International (AUH) about 151 km 1 h 45 min

Dubai Airports advises reaching DXB at least 3 hours before your flight, so add that to the drive. For trips that do not touch an airport, such as Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah or Al Ain, see our intercity transfers between the emirates.

Arriving by private jet or cruise ship

Private flights land at the business aviation terminals at Al Maktoum (DWC), Dubai International (DXB) and Al Bateen Executive Airport (AZI) in Abu Dhabi. Send the FBO, the tail number and your arrival time. The chauffeur waits at the FBO lounge or the landside exit, whichever the FBO allows.

Ships dock at Mina Rashid and Dubai Harbour in Dubai, and at Zayed Port in Abu Dhabi. Mina Rashid is about 16 km from DXB by road. Our port pickups at Mina Rashid, Dubai Harbour and Zayed Port list each terminal with its drive times.

After you land: tours and onward plans

Visitors staying a few days often book a tour on the same WhatsApp thread as the pickup. The desert safari from Dubai collects from Dubai hotels. If you land at Zayed International, central Abu Dhabi is about 41 km from Terminal A, close enough to fit the Abu Dhabi city tour into your first full day.

Travel agents and DMCs sending several arrivals a week can set up a standing arrangement through our travel trade partner page.

How to book an airport pickup

  1. Send the airport, terminal, flight number, landing date and time on WhatsApp or in the trip form.
  2. Add the number of passengers, large cases, any child seats and the drop-off address.
  3. You get one quote for the whole car. Confirm it on WhatsApp.
  4. Before you land, your chauffeur messages you with the meeting point and waits in arrivals with your name on a board.

What sets the price

Every quote is made for your trip, so no rate card. These are the things it depends on.

Ask for a quote
  • The airport, the terminal and the drop-off address
  • The car class and how many cars your group needs
  • The landing time, including late-night arrivals and public holidays
  • Extra stops on the way, or a second drop-off address
  • Waiting beyond the free minutes stated in your quote
  • Whether the pickup is in Dubai or arranged through our partner network in another emirate

Questions and answers

Which UAE airports do you cover?

Seven passenger airports in five emirates: Dubai International (DXB), Al Maktoum International (DWC), Zayed International (AUH) in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah (SHJ), Ras Al Khaimah (RKT), Fujairah (FJR) and Al Ain (AAN), now named Tahnoun International. We also meet private flights at the business aviation terminals at DWC, DXB and Al Bateen, and cruise passengers at Mina Rashid, Dubai Harbour and Zayed Port.

Where does the driver meet me?

In the public arrivals area, after passport control, baggage claim and customs. Your chauffeur holds a board with your name, and VIP guests are welcomed personally. The chauffeur messages you on WhatsApp with the exact spot before you land. At DXB there is no pick-up lane at arrivals, so the chauffeur walks you to the car in the terminal car park.

What happens if my flight lands late or early?

Give your flight number when you book. The chauffeur follows the real landing time, not the timetable, so a 2-hour delay moves the pickup with it. If your flight is diverted to another UAE airport, message us on WhatsApp. The line is answered 24/7, and we move the car to the airport you land at when one is free.

How long will the chauffeur wait after I land?

Free waiting time starts when your flight lands, and the exact number of minutes is written in your quote. Passport queues and baggage belts at the larger airports can take a while, so that allowance covers a normal arrival. If you expect a long wait, such as an oversized bag claim, tell us and we price the extra time before you fly.

Can I book a child seat for the airport pickup?

Yes, on request. Tell us the age of each child and how many seats you need when you send your flight details. The seat is fitted before the chauffeur reaches the airport. Booking it early matters most for late-night arrivals and for pickups outside Dubai, where the car comes through our partner network.

Can you take me from one UAE airport to another?

Yes. Connections we drive include DXB to Al Maktoum (DWC), about 61 km and 1 hour 10 minutes without traffic, and DXB to Zayed International (AUH), about 131 km and 1 hour 39 minutes. DXB to Sharjah airport is about 29 km. Allow for check-in at the second airport when you choose the pickup time.

Do you meet private jets and cruise ships too?

Yes. For a private flight, send the FBO, tail number and arrival time, and the chauffeur waits where the FBO allows. For a cruise, send the ship, terminal and docking date. Your chauffeur meets you outside the terminal building with a name board. Both run on the same WhatsApp quote as an airport pickup.
