Stretch limo, Hummer limo or party bus: what is the difference?
A stretch limo seats 8 to 12 on side-facing seats, while a party bus is a minibus or coach with the seating arranged for a group. Here is how the three differ.
- Stretch limo. A car or SUV lengthened by a coachbuilder, with side-facing seats.
- Hummer limo. A stretch based on the Hummer H2.
- Party bus. A minibus or coach with the seats arranged for a group.

Stretch seat counts depend on the conversion. Ask the partner for the number on the car you will get. Ask for the vehicle’s year and condition.
Popular night-out routes
A common night-out loop runs Downtown Dubai to Dubai Marina and JBR, with Palm Jumeirah as an optional stop. A stretch car is wide and long, so check the pickup point and the hotel entrance can take it. A van is easier on Marina streets.
Rules on drinks, music and stops
We do not state rules on alcohol or loud music for stretch cars here, because we have not confirmed them from an official source. Ask the operator in writing before you book, and check the rule for the venue where you are dropped. Agree the stops and the end time in advance.
Minimum hours and what affects the price
Price depends on the vehicle, the hours and the route. Ask:
- What is the minimum booking?
- What does an extra hour cost?
- Is the driver’s waiting time included?
- Is there a deposit?
