Who the A6 suits
The A6 rear bench seats 3 adults. With all 3 seats in use, the boot takes 2 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags. Audi quotes up to 492 L, depending on the engine, with a load width of 1,050 mm. That suits 2 or 3 business travellers, or a couple with holiday luggage.
For 4 passengers, or 3 large cases, move to the Mercedes V-Class, which seats 6 with 4 large suitcases.
The rear cabin, and what is optional
Audi lists these for the current A6 sedan. Several are options, so partner cars differ.
- Four-zone climate control (option). The two outer rear seats get their own temperature, set from a unit in the rear centre console.
- Panoramic glass roof with switchable segments. Audi says six segments can be switched to block glare, which matters under the Dubai midday sun.
- Adaptive air suspension (option).
- Mild-hybrid drive on some engines.
These figures are for the current A6 generation. A partner car may be an earlier model, so ask about any feature that matters. The image is a representative Audi render, and the colour of the car supplied may differ.
What the A6 is booked for
- Airport arrivals. At Dubai International, the chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with your name on a board.
