The short answer
Bentley vs Rolls-Royce: pick the Rolls-Royce when the entrance matters. Pick the Bentley when the passenger wants a quiet, sportier car and travels light. Both come through our partner network, subject to availability, and both are booked with a chauffeur only.
| Bentley Flying Spur | Rolls-Royce Ghost | Rolls-Royce Cullinan | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Body | Saloon | Saloon | SUV |
| Boot | 346 L | 507 L | 560 to 600 L |
| Large cases (planning) | about 2 | about 2 | about 3 |
| Rear passengers booked | 3 | 3 | 3 (Lounge Seats) |
| Best for | Quiet business, couples | Airport and formal | Luggage, venue access |
Bag counts are Assure’s estimates from the makers’ boot figures. See all of them on our ultra-luxury and exotic fleet page.
Rear space: Flying Spur against Ghost, and the Bentley SUV question
Bentley builds the Flying Spur for up to 5 occupants, but a chauffeured booking seats 3 in the rear. Its boot is 346 L. The Ghost has 507 L, so it carries the same 3 passengers with a larger load.
Assure has not confirmed rear leg-room in millimetres for either car, so it does not rank them on legroom. Both are saloons built to be ridden in.

The Bentayga is Bentley’s SUV. It is not on Assure’s current list, and we have not confirmed the extended-wheelbase rear-seat features, so ask us if you want one. For an SUV with a chauffeur, the Cullinan is on the list, with a 560 L boot. The Cullinan, Bentley and Range Rover choice for luggage-heavy trips is covered in our Phantom, Ghost and Cullinan comparison.
Arrival and photos: coach doors against conventional doors
This is where the two brands differ most. The Rolls-Royce Phantom and Cullinan have rear-hinged coach doors, and our partner brief lists the Ghost the same way. You step out facing forward with the door behind you.
The Flying Spur’s rear doors are hinged at the front, like most cars. A bride with a long train needs a moment to gather it on the way out. For a groom, a business guest or a couple at a hotel entrance in Downtown, that makes no difference.

For photos, plan each stop with the chauffeur before the day, and send the venue pin.
Ride and cabin kit on long drives
The Flying Spur gives rear passengers a handheld touch-screen remote for the cabin settings, and one-touch privacy blinds. Massage in all four outer seats is optional, so ask whether the car for your date has it. Bentley’s current model is a plug-in hybrid V8, but a partner car may be an earlier version.
The Ghost has rear screens with streaming and rear controls for seat massage, heating and cooling. Rolls-Royce puts about 100 kg of acoustic material in the body, which helps with calls on the road.
Assure has not measured cabin noise on either car, so it makes no claim on which is quieter. For a long run, such as Dubai to Abu Dhabi, about 139 km and 1 h 30 without traffic, ask us to confirm the car is suited to it.
Which suits weddings, business and airport arrivals?
- Weddings: Rolls-Royce for the formal exit, Bentley for a quieter arrival. Read how to choose a wedding car in Dubai and Rolls-Royce wedding cars.
- Business: either. The Flying Spur suits an executive with a briefcase and 2 cases. The Ghost suits 3 colleagues with laptop bags.
- Airport arrivals: both take 2 large cases at Dubai International. For 3 cases, book the Cullinan.
- Rest between meetings: compare the Mercedes-Maybach and S-Class, whose rear seat reclines up to 43 degrees.
Availability and booking notice
Neither brand is in Assure’s own fleet. A partner supplies each car, subject to availability on your date. The Mulsanne, Bentley’s earlier flagship, went out of production in June 2020. Assure lists it only as a partner car to confirm.
Assure confirms the exact car, colour and model year in writing before the booking is final. Assure does not publish a fixed notice period, so ask when you request, and name a second choice for weddings and event nights. Our limousine service page explains how a booking runs.
