Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2027: dates, venue, sessions and where to stay

The 2027 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships run from 14 to 27 February at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Garhoud, close to Dubai International Airport. The fortnight pairs a women's week with a men's week. The stadium is a five-minute walk from GGICO Metro station, and Assure can drive you door to door.

When are the 2027 Dubai Tennis Championships?

The official site shows the 2027 Championships on 14 to 27 February at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium. A third-party listing gives 14 to 20 February for the women’s WTA week. We did not find an official ATP 2027 date, so check the schedule page on the tournament site before you commit to a men’s day.

WTA week and ATP week: how the fortnight works

The tournament runs as two events on one court. The women’s week comes first, then the men’s week. Early rounds fill the daytime sessions, and the evening sessions carry the bigger names.

If you want both weeks, book accommodation for the full period and choose your days once the order of play is published.

Where is the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium?

The stadium is in Garhoud, Dubai, in the grounds of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Centre. The centre court seats about 5,000.

Garhoud is the district beside Dubai International Airport, so the drive from DXB is short. Our Terminal 1 arrivals guide shows where your driver meets you after landing.

Tickets and session times

Tickets and the order of play are sold and published on the organiser’s site. We do not list prices or times here because they change each year. Check the tournament site for how sessions are sold and when the daily schedule is released.

Where to stay near Al Garhoud

  • Garhoud and Deira: shortest trip to the stadium and the airport.
  • Downtown Dubai: a Red Line ride, then a short walk or shuttle.
  • Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah: a longer drive, so book a car for the evening.

Getting there in one paragraph

By Metro, the organisers say the stadium is a five-minute walk from GGICO station, or you can ride to Al Garhoud and take the free shuttle. Ticket holders also get the complimentary Park N’ Ride. By car, Assure collects you from your hotel, drops you at the stadium and returns when play ends. See the Dubai Tennis Championships chauffeur page for booking, and the Metro guide if you prefer the train.

Evening session checklist

  1. Ticket on your phone, plus ID.
  2. A light layer for after dark.
  3. A pickup point agreed with your driver before the last match.
  4. Flight numbers sent to your driver if you arrive that day through an airport transfer.

Compare the options in getting to Dubai events. For another sports weekend, read the Dubai 7s guide. Our events chauffeur and limousine service pages and the UAE events calendar cover the rest. You can also hire a car with driver for the whole stay.

Questions and answers

When are the Dubai Tennis Championships in 2027?

The official site lists the 2027 Championships as 14 to 27 February. Third-party listings place the women's week at 14 to 20 February, with the men's week following. Check the official schedule page before you book flights or hotels, because session days can move.

How does the two-week format work?

The first week is the women's WTA event and the second is the men's ATP event, both on the same centre court. That means two sets of players, two ticket ranges and different crowds. Choose a week first, then a day.

Where is the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium?

It is in Garhoud, Dubai, in the grounds of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Centre. The centre court seats about 5,000. The organisers do not publish a street address on their venue page, so use the stadium name in a taxi app or send it to your driver.

How do I get to the stadium by Metro?

The organisers say the stadium is a five-minute walk from GGICO Metro station. You can also ride to Al Garhoud station and use the free shuttle bus. Ticket holders also get a complimentary Park N' Ride service that starts one hour before matches.

Where should I stay for the tennis?

Garhoud and Deira hotels put you within a short drive of the stadium and DXB, and Downtown Dubai is a straightforward Red Line ride away. Pick the area for the rest of your trip, because the stadium is easy to reach from most of Dubai.

Can Assure pick me up from the airport and take me to the tennis?

Yes. Send your flight number, hotel and match day on WhatsApp. Your driver meets you in arrivals, drives you to your hotel, and can return for the evening session and wait for the final point. Quotes come back on WhatsApp.

What should I bring to an evening session?

Bring your ticket on your phone, ID, a light layer for the air-conditioned or breezy stand, and a plan for the exit. Agree a pickup spot with your driver before play ends, because the roads around Garhoud fill when the last match finishes.
